Between requesting closure and the data being removed, the account sits in a waiting period. This article is what you can do during it.
What still works
Signing in shows a screen explaining the state, with the deadline. From there you can:
- Download your personal export, from Profile
- Download your workspace export, if you own workspaces
- Restore the account
- Choose Data Safe, to keep your data without an active subscription
- Sign out
Everything else is unavailable. Scans do not run, and your team cannot reach the workspaces you own.
The exports stay available throughout
Deliberately. The waiting period exists partly so you can get your data out, so locking the exports would defeat the point. If you have not taken them yet, do it now rather than on the last day.
Restoring the account
You can restore during the waiting period, which lifts the restriction and brings everything back.
One rule to know: you must restore onto the plan you were on before, or a higher one. You cannot use closure and restoration as a route to a cheaper plan. If you want to spend less, cancel and move to a smaller plan instead, which is the supported way to do it.
If you do nothing
At the deadline the account and its data are removed. That is the intended outcome of the request, and it cannot be reversed afterwards.
If you want to keep the data but not the subscription
That is what Data Safe is for. See Data Safe.
