Workspace settings are short, but one of them has consequences well beyond where it appears.
Name
Shown in the workspace switcher and to everyone you invite. See Creating and renaming a workspace for why distinct names matter.
Timezone
This is the one to get right. Two things depend on it:
- Every date and time shown in the portal is displayed in the workspace timezone, not in yours. A colleague in another country sees the same timestamps you do.
- Scheduled scans run according to it. A scan set for 3am runs at 3am in the workspace timezone, regardless of where the person who created it happens to be.
If your team is spread across countries, agree on one, set it, and mention it in your own internal notes. The usual choice is the timezone of whoever looks at the results most, or the one your business officially runs on.
Changing the timezone later changes how existing scheduled scans are interpreted, so check your schedules after changing it.
Logo
Used on your reports where your plan supports your own branding, which is Professional and above. Upload the version that works on a light background, because that is where it appears. You can remove it again at any time.
Who can change these
Owners and Admins. Everyone else can see the settings but not edit them, which is deliberate: the timezone quietly affects other people's scheduled scans.
What is not here
Your plan, payment method and invoices live under Billing, not workspace settings, because they belong to the account rather than to one workspace.
