Deleting a workspace removes it and everything in it. It cannot be undone, so the portal makes you confirm deliberately.
Before you delete anything
Export it first. Once the workspace is gone, its websites, scans, results and reports go with it, and we cannot bring them back. An export takes a minute and gives you a permanent copy. See Exporting your workspace data.
This matters more than it sounds. A dated record of what you found and fixed is exactly the evidence you want if anyone ever asks what you did about accessibility, and it is usually realised after the deletion rather than before.
Deleting it
- Open Manage Workspaces.
- Choose the workspace and select delete.
- Type DELETE exactly to confirm. It is case sensitive and nothing else is accepted.
Two rules the portal enforces
- Only the Owner can delete a workspace. Admins cannot, however much else they can do.
- You cannot delete your only workspace. If you want to stop using the platform altogether, export your data and contact support rather than trying to empty the account yourself.
What happens to the people in it
They lose access to that workspace. If they belong to others of yours, those are unaffected. Their places against your plan limit are freed.
A gentler alternative
If the real problem is clutter rather than genuinely finished work, consider removing the websites you no longer track and keeping the workspace. You keep the history, and you can still export it later.
