Billing here has two parts, and they are genuinely separate. Understanding that once will save you a lot of confusion later.
1. Your subscription
A recurring charge, monthly or annual, that decides what your account can do: how many websites you can track, how many pages each scan covers, how many people you can invite, whether you can schedule scans, and how much storage you have.
Scanning does not cost extra. Within your plan's limits, you can scan as much as you like without anything being charged on top. This is the part almost every customer cares about.
2. Credits
A separate balance, used only by specific extras. Today that means automatic fixes applied through the WordPress plugin. Ordinary scanning, reports, the accessibility tools and everything else in the portal do not use credits.
You are given credits when you register and when you upgrade, and you can buy more if you need them. If you do not use the WordPress plugin's automatic fixes, you may never spend a single credit.
Which one is charging me?
| If you want to | It comes from |
|---|---|
| Add more websites | Your plan |
| Scan more pages at once | Your plan |
| Invite more people | Your plan |
| Schedule scans | Your plan |
| Store more reports | Your plan |
| Apply automatic fixes via WordPress | Credits |
Who can see and change this
Billing is visible to Owners, Admins, Billing-only and Read-only. Only the Owner and the Billing-only role can actually change the subscription. An Admin can look but not act. Members cannot see billing at all.
Where to find it
Everything to do with money is under Billing. Credits have their own area. Your plan's limits and how much of them you are using are shown under Usage.
