Accessibility work is rarely one person's job. The findings usually belong to a developer, the content problems to whoever writes the pages, and the budget to someone else again.
Invite someone
- Open Team.
- Choose Invite and enter their email address.
- Pick a role. See The five roles, explained if you are unsure.
- Send. They receive an email with a link to join.
Show the Team page with the Invite dialog open, showing the email field and role dropdown.
Choosing a role
Give people the least access that lets them do their job. Not out of suspicion, but because a smaller surface means fewer accidents and a much simpler conversation when someone leaves.
In practice, for most teams:
- A developer who needs to see findings and re-run scans fits Member.
- Someone in finance who should never see scan detail fits Billing-only.
- A stakeholder who wants to watch progress fits Read-only.
- Keep Admin for people who genuinely administer the workspace.
If an invitation does not arrive
Ask them to check their spam folder first. Company mail filters are the usual culprit. You can resend from the Team screen.
Changing or removing someone
Roles can be changed at any time from Team, and the change takes effect immediately. When someone leaves, remove them from the workspace rather than leaving a dormant account; their work stays, only their access goes.
Agencies and contractors
If you bring in an agency to work on some of your sites but not all, you do not have to give them everything. See Limiting someone to specific websites.
