Your website's scan history

Every website has its own page, reached from Websites. The Scan History section lists every scan of that site.

At the top of the page

Four figures: Total Scans, the number of automated issues in the latest scan, whether ownership is verified, and when the site was last scanned. Total Scans counts every scan ever completed, including ones since deleted.

Each row

The scan's date, its status, the number of automated issues, the number of pages scanned, and its score. The score column shows a number out of 100 with an arrow for the change since the previous scored scan, or Pending Review if the scan has no expert review. Owners and Admins also see who started each scan.

Filtering and sorting

Filter & Sort narrows the list by status and date range, and sorts it by newest, oldest, highest score or lowest score. History shows five scans per page.

Pinning

Pin up to two scans per website to keep them at the top, above the rest of the list. A good use is your baseline scan and your most recent reviewed scan, so the before and after are always side by side.

Notes

Add a note of up to 500 characters to any scan, such as "Fixed nav menu issues after this scan". Notes show under the scan in history. They are the easiest way to remember months later why a score moved.

Deleting a scan

You can delete a scan from history. It cannot be undone, so download its report first if you might need it. Two exceptions:

  • A scan with a service request on record, such as an expert review, cannot be deleted.
  • On the Free plan, the most recent scan of a website cannot be deleted.

Who can do what

Seeing history needs the scan history permission. Pinning, notes and deleting need the rescan permission for websites.
